Oversized Bling

Oversized bling. Statement jewelry. Officially trending.
I'll admit, it was tough looking for a single jewelry trend from the fall/winter runways. There was just soooo much variation. Everything from sparkling jewels, to big geometric shaped bracelets, to fancy brooches, to fringe everything, to skinny scarves turned chokers, to ornate gemstone pieces, to floral options, to statement single earrings, to an overabundance of pearls, to crystals, to cuffs, to hoops, and to chains was paraded down the runways.
But I tried to find a single unifying factor between the assortment of styles presented at the shows. And after surfing through many different sites and scrolling and browsing through many different shows, I finally settled on one common jewelry characteristic - oversized. Almost every jewelry piece was big. And bold. And in your face. And oversized.
The designers were all like, "less is more, you say? Uh no. More is more."
So I guess it's settled. This season, more is more. When it comes to jewelry. It's go big or go home.
I'm not a huge fan of statement necklaces and rings - I kinda got over them 2 years ago. But chokers? YES. Statement earrings and cuffs? YES. And cuff bracelets? YES.
On a completely unrelated note, or a stiff neck:
