Soft, cozy, furry, warm, comforting. These words usually don't appertain to outfits that are particularly stylish and trendy. Usually, you have to sacrifice beauty for comfort. Or comfort for beauty. Usually. But not this time.

Not this time, because there's a style that's soft, cozy, furry, warm, comforting, and stylish and trending. Yes, I am talking about shearling! How'd you guess?!

Shearling was everywhere on the fall/winter runways. And I mean EVERYWHERE. Shearling vests, jackets, and coats in fitted and oversized styles were featured by so many designers this season. And this makes me so very happy. Because I like me some shearling.

All the items featured here are faux shearling. Because faux shearling is cheaper. And more considerate. To the animals. 

I don't know why, but seeing all these shearling jackets is making me want to snuggle up in the furriest sweater I own and eat chocolate chip cookies dipped in coffee. So that's what I'm going to go do. Over and out.
