Happy Father's Day! Although, I wonder if there's even one whole Dad that reads this blog. But just to be on the safe side, happy Father's Day to the one dad (and I'm being generous) that (dubiously) reads this blog! I kid, I kid - my brother-in-law, some of my brothers, and my father read this blog. So that's already like three and a half dads!
And to my largely female audience, here's how we're going to celebrate Father's Day: we're going to (use our dad's money if necessary and) shop for menswear inspired outfits. Or, like the title says, "boy meets girl" type clothing. Yes, even though it's Father's Day, the clothing in this post is for the female gender. But it is inspired by the male gender. So everyone's included. Yay!
I'm actually in love with menswear inspired clothing. I'd consider myself a mix of a girly-girl and tomboy. Like, I'm a girl, but you know, I like my sports. And that translates into the type of clothing I wear. I'll most certainly wear a pink dress or full skirt any day, but I'm also not afraid of strutting around in a button down shirt, tie, and blazer. Or a gigantic men's watch. Or in boyish sneakers. Or in oversized everything.
I want EVERYTHING in this post (except the oxfords. I'm not an oxfords person. Sneakers - yes. Oxfords - nah). Gaahhh, self-control, self-control.
Oh, and just for some more inspiration, here are some full-on "boy meets girl" looks for you to gawk at:
