Patent apparel is a trend, peoples. Patent clothing, patent shoes, patent accessories, patent everything.

I've always loved patent boots. Maybe because they're more uncommon than suede or leather boots, or maybe just because I'm attracted to shiny things (although, I'm not a huge fan of sequins). And now, patent is also trending. YIPPEEDOO.

But I think I shall start experimenting with patent clothing as well. A patent motorcycle jacket, or a patent A-line skirt - why not, eh? Why not.

Now, usually, the word "patent" precedes the word "'leather." Like this: patent leather. But most, or at least many, of the options above aren't actually leather. They have the shiny patent coating without the leather underneath. Which is just fine, cuz that means the items are gonna be less expensive. Never a bad thing.
