Mules are hands down my favorite shoe style this season. Which is great, because mules are also a huge shoe trend for Spring/Summer 2016. I'm blessed. 

I also really like sneakers and espadrilles right now. Just in case you were wondering. 

Quarter slider, quarter slipper, quarter sandal, quarter slingback. That's how I'd describe a mule.

And since mules are not sandals, but also not shoes, but also not slippers, but also not slingbacks, but also not sliders, but instead a combination of all of the above, they're a unique and excellent shoe option for the spring and summer. 

Above are 36 mule options, arranged in ascending price order. So you'll find some pairs for $50, and some pairs for $500. I believe this is called balance, yes?

While I love the third to last pair of mules, those Proenza Schouler grey and rose gold beauties, they're just a tad out of my price range. So I'll have to settle for those baby blue leather mules with the three straps. Poor me. Ooh, or those black ones two shoes after the blue ones. Wait, can I just get both?
