Maxi Dresses Under $100

We're nearing the end of July. Which means we're smack in the middle of summer. Which means you need the quintessential summer garment - a maxi dress.

Midi dresses I don't associate solely with the summer, because I like pairing midis with booties. So I end up wearing midi skirts and dresses mostly in the spring and fall. 

But maxi dresses are a summer-only garment for me. Because I can't wear boots with my maxis. Or at least I don't like to, because I do not appreciate the resulting look that occurs when the top of a boot is being covered by a maxi dress with only the chunky sole and front of the boot sticking out of the dress. *gag*

So what do I pair my maxis with? Some flat sandals or sneakers for a casual occasion, or a pair of heeled sandals for a more formal occasion. Easy and perfect summer outfit right there.
