This is it, folks. This is the last of the year's summer trends to be featured on the blog. The minute August arrives, I'm going to be all over those Fall 2016 trends. You've been warned.

And I believe it's only right that the last summer trend to be highlighted here is the off the shoulder craze. Because I'm in love with this trend. It's so summery. And so charming. And just lovely.

Above you'll find 40 off the shoulder tops and dresses. And, just in case you were wondering, it took me about 3 hours to decide whether to write "off the shoulder" the way I just wrote it, or with hyphens, like this: 0ff-the-shoulder. I went with the unhyphenated version. Tough decision, tough decision.

I could have gone the easier route and just used the phrase "cold shoulder." Because that's another name for these types of garments. But I didn't. I toughed it out. I'm so brave.

Also, I just decided that a loose off the shoulder dress would also transition really well into a beach cover-up. So wear a loose off the shoulder dress around all day with your swimsuit underneath and then head straight to the beach without bothering to change, okay?
