Happy last day of September! (Ha - 'happy' and 'last day of September,' i.e. last, last day that might still be considered kinda summer - what an oxymoron. Unless you're one of those people that considers autumn her favorite season. In which case I guess my greeting is appropriate for you.)

Today's post is about a trend. A Fall/Winter 2017 trend. A military trend. A "let's-all-pretend-we're-enlisted-the-army" trend.

Olive green and camo print and gold buttons and cargo pants - hi hi hello.

Military looks were seen all over the runways for this season. Especially military jackets and coats. With lots of patches and embellishments on them. Nicely done, designers. Nicely done.

The slip dress/nightwear rage is probably still my favorite trend for this year. But army inspired looks are cool too. Consider combining the two trends by sporting a military jacket over a dainty slip dress. Ah, the contrast. LUV it.
