Currently Loving: Double Breasted Blazers

Blazers are officially my new favorite layering piece. I took quite an hiatus from blazers; I pretty much just stopped wearing them for a couple years. Cardigans just appeared to be an easier and more comfortable choice, so I'd skip over the blazer section of my wardrobe in favor of the cardigans. 

But a few months ago, I got back on the blazer train. The double breasted blazer train, specifically. There's something unique and grandpa-ish and stylish about double breasted blazers that I love. They're just so much cooler than regular blazers, nay? 

I especially love wearing oversized, double breasted blazers that fall to just above the knee. In houndstooth and checkered patterns. All you gotta do is layer one of those blazers over any simple dress, and you instantly have an easy, dressed up look.
