Slides: So Many

So I ended up doing it. Back when I posted all these mules, I said I might make a post on sliders some time soon. And today I'm doing just that.
What's the difference between slides and mules, you ask? It's a hotly debated topic, but here's my definition: mules are backless, either closed or open-toe, and usually have a heel.
Slides are backless, usually open-toe, and are always flat. And I'll allow a very slight flatform slide into the sliders category as an exception, even though a flatform is kinda a heel.
(And a flatform is a shoe with a thick sole that's even in front and back, unlike a platform, which has a thicker heel at the back.)
But enough with definitions. Let's get to the good stuff: these slides. There's forty of them above. Pictured in ascending price order. Slides are the perfect summer shoe. Because sliders are sandals, just way cooler. And they transition seamlessly from streetwear to beachwear.
Very convenient. And very cool. What's not to love?
