Flannels for Fall

I hate to have to do this, but it's time. Someone has got to let you know. Summer is coming to an end.

And today we officially begin our fall-related blog posts. We're done with summer trends and warm-weather clothing for this season. We're moving on to warmer and bulkier things. Like flannels. 

And not just flannel shirts. Flannel skirts too. And flannel trousers. And flannel jackets. And flannel dresses. All of these styles are included in the collage of forty-four flannel options above, pictured in ascending price order. 

I ventured on a quick Google search to find out what flannel actually is and got this definition: a kind of soft-woven fabric, typically made of wool or cotton and slightly milled and raised. So there you have it. 

Flannel is also usually featured in plaid. And as to the question of why flannel and plaid always seem to go hand in hand, your guess is as good as mine. I'm just too lazy to do another Google search.
