I'm turning into a hat person. Yes, I'm one of those people now.
Okay, so I don't wear hats EVERY day. But I've been wearing them a lot lately. For a couple reasons.
I'm going through a bit of a situation with my hair currently. Naturally, my hair is very curly. But I've been doing the Keratin Straightening Treatment for the past two years. And it has finally taken a major toll on my hair. Let's just say my hair is not happy right now and therefore not treating me very kindly.
So, I'm no longer doing the straightening treatments, but my hair has still got some of those chemicals left in it. So it's part straight/part wavy/part super-curly at the moment. Fun stuff. That's where hats come to the rescue.
But putting aside my lovely hair situation, I'm loving hats in general these days. And would probably wear them even if my hair wasn't a mess. There are two types of hats I've specifically been sporting lately: berets and newsboy hats. Berets, because I feel so French and 30s/40s in them. And newsboy hats, because they're just a very different style from what I'd usually choose, and I'm all about trying new things these days.
And, side note, there are so many other names for "newsboy hats," like "baker boy hats," "lieutenant hats," and "fishermen hats."
So, above are forty-eight berets and baker boy hats, pictured in ascending price order. We have a problem. I want all of them. Send help.
