One Piece, Two Seasons
One piece, two seasons, the two seasons being summer and fall.
Yes, I’m sorry. Fall. Autumn. It’s creeping up. It’s August, after all. Which means next month fall officially begins.
So today imma show you how to take one garment (a dress), and transition it from summer to fall. Through outfits that depict how to style one piece (a dress) for both summer and fall. Because you shan’t think that your whole summer wardrobe has to go once autumn arrives. Or believe that certain pieces are only to be worn in single seasons. NO. No no no.
Take the wrap dress below, as an example. It’s got summer vibes, all right. But, styled with booties and a wool fedora and fall-toned accessories, it transforms into a lovely autumn outfit.
Or take the slip dress featured below. Slip dresses are sleeveless and lightweight. But, top a slip dress with a blazer or layer a turtleneck underneath, and the slip dress becomes fall-appropriate.
You get what I mean. So my work is done here. And don’t worry, you still got a month+ of summer left.
