Well. It’s Monday, and it’s the final week of 2020. At last. It’s been a long one.
Also. This means that it’s time for the yearly round-up blog post. Where I feature the top ten recipes from the past year. The ten recipes below were all posted in 2020 and are featured in chronological order according to the amount of views each recipe received.
Some thoughts:
The number one dessert from this past year was banana chocolate chip crumb muffins. BANANA. Who would have thunk. Not me. Well, actually. I was always aware of how popular banana cakes were. I just personally have found it very hard to understand, until recently.
Only one of the most popular recipes below is a savory one. I guess 2020 required all the sweet, indulgent, rich, comforting desserts, in abundance. Understandable.
I posted a cocktail recipe for the first time ever this year. And it came in at number four. Also understandable for 2020. This maybe also means that I should post alcoholic beverages more often, in general.
Six out of the ten recipes below contain chocolate. This theme repeats itself every year. THE PEOPLE LOVE THEIR CHOCOLATE.
Three out of the ten most popular recipes from 2020 are of the flourless variety. The gluten-free demand has reigned strong, and consistent, these past few years.
