Ooh ooh ooh guess whattttttt!! This very Thursday evening, Chanukah begins. The festival of light and dairy and deep fried everything commences in three days, peoples. DO YOU COPY.
So. Therefore. I decided to compile a list of all the Chanukah friendly recipes I’ve ever posted to the blog. Chanukah traditionally abounds with dairy dishes and all types of fried foods (think potato latkes) and fried desserts (think donuts).
That’s why the Chanukah recipe list below includes any dairy-heavy savory recipe (by heavy, I mean if there was just a cute little sprinkling of feta cheese on top of the dish, it didn’t quite make the cut) and any dessert that is fried, or donut-y (by donut-y, I mean baked donuts, because although those aren’t actually bathed in oil, optics count for something, right).
