We’re entering the fourth week of Winter 2021. This is as cold a time as it gets here in NY, people.

So. I have a remedy. Sort of. I don’t exactly have sun and warm breezes to offer up to you. But I do have oversized coats. Big, cozy, comfy, encompassing coats that envelop you in a woolly, fluffy, furry, or quilted cocoon.

It also just so happens to be that oversized, under-the-knee coats are very in this season. Begone, short coats. The fashion world is all about the oversized styles that can be layered over anything and work with everything, even your hoodies and sweatpants.

Above are fifty-two oversized coats, pictured in ascending price order. And the first thirty-one coats featured are under $200.

Most of the coats above are long. As in, well below the knee. Which is a key component to them being “oversized.” And the most cozy. Most are also wool, or wool look options. Some are padded and quilted. Others are shearling and faux fur. And I think that covers them all.
