Ought Not To, Ought To: Blazer Edition
Hello. Hi. It’s Monday. It’s February. It’s winter. It’s 2021. It’s cold. Just catching you up on things.
Let’s move on. Because there’s something else I’d like to fill you in on. It’s these blazers. These affordable blazers. These blazers that are (much) less expensive alternatives to very pricy brand name blazers.
I’ve got three blazer styles here for you today. Each section below highlights one expensive option, with five more affordable versions provided alongside it.
First up is the plaid slash check slash herringbone blazer. In a double breasted style. In black and beige/brown tones. We’ve got a Saint Laurent blazer, for over three grand. And five dupes to get that look for less.
Second. Black leather blazers! The leather blazer is the blazer of the season, one might say. Leather blazer layered over a turtleneck — TREND ALERT. All the blazers in this section are 100% genuine leather, which is why even the “affordable” options provided are still on the pricier side.
And last. A collection of velvet blazers. In black and navy. Blazers are chic. Velvet is plush and chic. So a velvet blazer — CHICNESS LEVEL MAX.
