Prints. Last Sunday, I was all about stripes. Today, I'm all about florals. But it's not me, it's them - the fashion people. The designers. The retailers. The spring and summer fashion shows. Floral-patterned garments were seen ALL OVER the runways.

But let's forget for a minute the fact that anything floral patterned is currently a major trend. To me, florals are spring and summer, in a print. I mean, you don't just get to gaze at the phenomenon of a beautiful, blooming tree come April when the weather starts warming up. You get to wear those blooms too.

A freshly picked bouquet of flowers? Always a lovely sight and smell. But you have to nurture and sustain those blossoms. Watering them, trimming them - it's a tough job, man. But a floral dress? You get to showcase those flowers all day, every day, without any of the hassle of maintaining the life of a delicate organism.

With regards to pattern types for different body shapes: stick to smaller florals if you're more petite. And if you're on the taller side, feel free to opt for larger, more elaborate floral patterns. And if you're in between - I'll let you finish the sentence all by yourself (okay, I'll give you a hint: you're safest with medium-sized prints). 

 In conclusion, florals are summer, on a dress. And who wouldn't want to wear summer?!
