My 20 Favorite Dessert Towers
If you've been following my blog for a while now, you may have noticed a recurring factor in many of my food photos: stacks. Or mounds. Or piles. Or towers. Of desserts.
Dessert towers. They're my thing. Because they're lots of fun to assemble. And photograph. And ogle at. And daydream about for a nice, little while afterwards.
And when I break the cookies in half to pile them on top of each other, I'm left with lots of cookie halves that I simply have to eat when I'm finished conducting my photoshoot. Because who else will?
And when I take that picture-perfect bite out of the top donut in the stack so you can see what the inside of it looks like. I enjoy doing that. Taking that bite.
And when I get my fingers full of chocolate from the pools of melted chocolate oozing out of my cookie tower, that's okay too. Because I get to lick it all off.
It is a little annoying when the chocolate gets all over my camera too. And my work surface. And my hair. And my clothing. But it's worth it for that one beautiful photo I get at the end of a pile of ooey, gooey, melty cookies or brownies or bars.
Well, without further ado, here they are. My 20 favorite dessert towers that I've created for the blog thus far. In no particular order. Feast your eyes:
