Winter Pastels: 40 Selections

Hi, I'm Leah, and I'm obsessed with pastels.
Just have a look at my blog logo. The color of the word "truffles" is one of my favorites. In the whole wide world.
M favorite pastel hues are definitely in the blue family. Sky blue, ice blue, purplish blue - gaaaaaaah, I can't. But I also very much have an affinity for baby pink. And lavender. Mint green and pale yellow - not so much.
Pastels are especially flattering on those with cool undertones. Which may be the reason I like pastels so much. Because I'm cool-toned. And often people end up naturally liking the colors that look good on them. According to a color specialist I consulted with once upon a time.
Because of the gentleness of pastels, they're often associated with summer, and hence reserved for the warmer months of the year. But I don't agree with this association. I don't like it. I want to wear my pastels, all year round.
Which is why I supplied you with winter apparel in pastel hues above. To prove that pastels can be worn in cold weather too. Come on - a pale blue coat against the backdrop of snowy mountains - it just makes sense. So much sense.
I've actually been on a mission to find the perfect pale blue or pale pink wool coat for a while now. I haven't found the one yet, but I'm not giving up any time soon.
On a completely unrelated note, best surprise ever:
