Well, actually, let's not talk about them too much. Let's just mention the fact that fanny packs are an acceptable - nay fashionable - bag choice these days. And that they're super-convenient and comfortable and a completely hands-free way of carrying around your everyday essentials. 

Fanny packs are especially useful when traveling or for when you know you'll be walking around town for quite a while and need to carry a few things with you that you'd love to be able to just stick into your pockets but can't because there's not enough room but you also don't want to have to bother with a shoulder bag or crossbody bag because ouch shoulders and back and arms and hands.
