Well well well. At last. Here we are. It’s the last day of August. Which means it’s the first day of many (I’m assuming, based on my past blogging behavior during the fall and winter months) boot posts.

BOOTS! ARE MY FAVORITE FOOTWEAR! And are probably the only reason I’m excited that fall is impending. And my favorite boot type of my favorite footwear type is definitely chunky sole boots, at the moment.

I’ve done combat boot posts in the past. But combat boots imply that the boot contains a lace-up front. This time, I’m doing any and all chunky sole boots, which means slip-on boots as well, and lug sole options abound.

It happens to be that slip-on lug sole boots are VERY trendy this season. Like, THE boot of 2020/2021, I’d even say. But it also happens to be that I’ve always been into chunky boots, but now, because of the proliferation of lug soles, I’m particularly digging non-lace-up chunky boots.
