Shirtdresses: 15 of Them

This is a post about a trend. And the trend that this post is about is the shirtdress (shirt dress, shirt-dress, whatever). Versatile, cute, and flattering, the shirtdress is the quintessential spring attire. In other words, shirtdresses rule.

The Spring 2015 shirtdress trend is one that can be taken straight off the runway and into your closet (maybe not the actual shirtdresses featured on the runway, cuz then you might be broke, but the styles, ah yes, the styles).  

So how are shirtdresses versatile? They are versatile, friends, because they come in thousands of styles. Examples: solid, patterned, short, midi, maxi, belted, loose, simple, embellished. 

How are shirtdresses cute? Oh, you know, just feast your eyes on some of the styles depicted above. That might give you some idea.

And why are shirtdresses flattering? Because they come in so many styles and shapes to suit different body types. Want to emphasize your waist? Try a belted version. Want to elongate your legs? So, folks, try a shirtdress. It will change your life (that might be a teeny, tiny exaggeration).
