My 10 New Favorite Beauty Products
I don't do these often. I don't post about beauty products very much on this blog. So when I do compose a blog post featuring beauty and makeup items, just know that I really, really like the products I'm showcasing.
My beauty regimen doesn't get updated often. Which means I don't purchase new merchandise of the beauty nature often. Which means it takes a while for me to have enough new products to compile and photograph and blog about.
Almost a year ago, I posted my top 15 beauty products. And a few months later, I shared my favorite makeup products.
And now, the time has arrived. I officially have enough new products to share with you all. It's time to feature the new additions to my beauty collection.
I like the things listed below a lot, so please, show some respect.
Well, here they are. My 10 new favorite beauty products:
1. IT'S A 10 HAIRPSRAY
The bottle says it all. This hairspray is a miracle leave-in product. I had very curly hair my whole life and recently got a Brazilian Blowout (similar to the Keratin treatment). Since the treatment, I've started curling my hair. But before I do that, I spray this product all over my hair to add shine, prevent frizz, and most importantly, to protect my hair from all the heat I apply to it from my curling iron. Speaking of curling irons...
2. REMINGTON CURLING IRON
I am very much in love my Remington curling iron. It's super cheap and creates the most amazing beach waves. In seconds. And since this iron has a simple barrel design, it's really easy to use too. Just wrap a section of hair around the wand and hold it for 5-10 seconds with the heat-protective glove that's included with the iron.
3. NARS TINTED MOISTURIZER
While I still stay loyal to my Chanel Foundation, I like using this Nars tinted moisturizer some days instead. This way, I cover moisturizer and foundation in one step. Plus, I love how light-weight this cover up is and how smoothly is slides on my face. I have it in the Finland color. Just in case you were wondering.
4. NEUTROGENA MAKEUP REMOVER TOWELETTES
These things. They're amazing. When I'm too lazy to wash and rinse my face with a legit liquid makeup remover (this one is my favorite), these wipes are my savior. They take off all of my makeup without irritating or drying out my skin too much.

5. NARS BRONZER
Until a few weeks ago, bronzing powder was a foreign specimen to me and applying it a foreign concept. Basically, I never used it and I had no idea how to apply it. But one day, when I complimented my friend's chiseled cheekbones, she swiftly whipped out this bronzer and started raving about how much she loved it and how the color was flattering on all skin tones.
And it's true. My friend's skin is about 568 shades darker than mine, and we both wear this bronzer in the same Laguna shade. I have no idea how it works. So don't ask.
To be honest, this is the first and only bronzer I've ever tried. So I don't know how good it is when compared to the thousands of other bronzers out there. But it works for me.
6. STILA WHITE EYELINER
Yes, you read that correctly - white eyeliner. It's my newest obsession. I use it on my inner eyelids to make my eyes look bigger and brighter. And also on the inner corners of my eyes, in place of highlighter.
Just saying, white eyeliner is something you should seriously be considering if you are at all into a fresh faced look.
7. VASELINE WITH COCOA BUTTER
I can't. For three reasons. 1 - vaseline. 2 - MINI vaseline. 3 - COCOA BUTTER mini vaseline. Need I say more?
8. NARS MATTE LIP PENCIL
Okay, so I never wear lipstick. I just don't like how I look in lipstick. But a slight red stain on my lips I can deal with. Which is why I purchased this lip pencil in the Cruella shade. It's matte, it's easy to apply (not chubby like regular lipstick, which I somehow manage to apply only on the outside of my lips and not on my actual lips), and it's the perfect shade.
9. LANCOME DEFINICILS MASCARA
I know, I know, I'm such a traitor. I said this Dior and this Too Faced mascara were my favorites.
But then I discovered this Lancome mascara. I love it because it makes my lashes super long. Not so thick. But so, so long.
And since my Dior mascara makes my lashes thick, but not that long, I started applying the Dior mascara first and the Lancome mascara on top of it, for thick and long lashes.
10. KIRKLAND SHAMPOO AND CONDITIONER
Who would have thought Costco would make my favorite shampoo and conditioner? Not me, but they do.
Since I got a Brazilian Blowout, I have to use shampoo that's sulfate free. Which is difficult, because almost every shampoo on the market has sulfate in it. But this Kirkland one doesn't. Which is wonderful. What's also wonderful is its scent. And that fact that the scent stays in my hair the whole day. And the fact that this shampoo and conditoner combo doesn't weigh down my hair or leave it volumeless.
