Ought Not To, Ought To: Lug Sole Boots

I KNOW! I can’t stop. This is like the third chunky boot post I’m posting on the blog in this season alone.

Let’s see, actually. I’ll list them: I’ve posted platform boots. And also chunky sole boots. Yep — third one, this post is.

Today’s post is a little different though. Because instead of posting a large collection of lug sole boots, I’m posting three specific lug sole boot styles. Each featuring a very expensive lug sole pair (well, actually, I just realized the last expensive option doesn’t technically contain a lug sole, but it is fairly chunky), with five corresponding more affordable dupes.

First up is the Chelsea boot. Slip-on, but in chunky, lug sole style. And in mid-calf height. I love this typa boot — it takes a second to slip on, it adds height but plenty of cushion and comfort, and it’s stylish AF.

Second is a lug sole ankle boot, but with a block heel. Which makes this style a little more formal. Even with the casual lug sole. Again — one pricey option, and five less expensive dupes.

And last we got chunky boots containing a zippered front. The zippered front chunky boot is a sub-trend of the chunky boot phenomenon, me thinks.
